Hellraiser.1.1987

A man finds he is given more than he bargains for when he solves
the puzzle of the Lamont Configuration - a doorway to hell. But
his ex-lover has found a way of bringing him back, and his
niece, Kirsty Lawrence, finds herself bargaining with the
Cenobites, angels to some, demons to others, whose greatest
pleasure is the greatest pain.

Hellraiser.2.hell Bound-1988

After the phenomenal returns on the first “Hellraiser”, New
World executives managed to pick their jaws off the floor long
enough to quickly green light a sequel. The result is a worthy
follow up, one that has an ambitious script but is nevertheless
aesthetically disappointing. Fans of the series will be pleased,
although some may be slightly under whelmed by what transpires
onscreen. Picking up right after the original, “Hellraiser II” finds
Kristy Cotton (Ashley Laurence) taken to a psychiatric hospital
run by the bizarre but brilliant Dr. Channard (Kenneth Cranham),
who has spent years searching for gateways to other dimensions.
Kirsty befriends another patient there, a mute girl named
Tiffany, who seems to be gifted at solving puzzles. But Kirsty’s
respite from the Cenobites is short lived, as Dr. Channard
resurrects Kristy’s evil step mom Julia (Clare Higgins), and the
Cenobites are summoned once again. Soon Kristy and Tiffany find
themselves negotiating Hell’s labyrinth corridors trying to
avoid the Cenobites and find a way back home.

Hellraiser.3 Hell on Earth.1992

Pinhead is stuck in a block after the Big Confrontation in
"Hellbound," The block containing Pinhead and the puzzle cube is
bought by a young playboy as sculpture. Pinhead busies himself
escaping by getting the playboy to lure victims to his presence
so he can use their blood. Once free, he seeks to destroy the
puzzle cube so he need never return to Hell, but a female
reporter is investigating the grisly murders and stands in his
way.

Hellraiser.4.Bloodline-1996

gates to hell forever. Because his ancestor, a toymaker in the
18th century, built the evil puzzlebox that opens the gates to
hell. And through the generations, the family of the bloodline
has tried to stop it. But now, Dr.Merchant has built the reverse
box. The box that will close the gates to hell instead of
opening it.

Hellraiser.5.Inferno-2000

Craig Sheffer plays a corrupt cop who dies and ends up in hell —
but doesn't know it. While struggling to find his way out, he
meets up with the one and only Pinhead (Doug Bradley), who has
been a Hellraiser poster boy since the very beginning.
Hellraiser devotees will also be happy to hear that hell is
literally crawling with Cenobites. If you have to ask, you
haven't been paying attention all these years.

Hellraiser.6.Hellseeker-2002

A very credible entry in the Hellraiser series, Hellraiser:
Hellseeker presents a nifty puzzle for gore fans, plus plenty of
philosophical musings from the ineffable Pinhead ("Personally, I
prefer pain"). A smoldering Dean Winters plays a man who
survives a car accident in which his wife was apparently killed;
because of a head injury, his memory is mixed up, and he can't
distinguish between reality and fantasy. The borrowings from
Memento are obvious, and the fragmented story pieces may not all
fit together, but the mystery does become tantalizing. Within
the low-budget constraints, veteran cinematographer Rick Bota
(making his directing debut) keeps the atmosphere clipped and
gloomy. The film also brings back Ashley Laurence, who appeared
in the original installments of Clive Barker's franchise. One
question: with Pinhead in the house, is visiting an
acupuncturist really a good idea?

Hellraiser.7.Deader-2005

The 7th installment in the franchise, “Hellraiser: Deader”,
finds American reporter Amy Klein (Kari Wuhrer) investigating a
group of underground freaks called “deaders”, the leader of
which is believed to possess the power to resurrect the dead.
After a mysterious videotape surfaces in her editor’s office,
the dour, self-destructing Amy is sent to Bucharest, Romania,
where she slowly descends into the world of the deaders, led by
their charismatic leader Winter (Paul Rhys). For Amy, who
willingly admits her dark side, the obvious inclination to flee
this new, terrible world doesn’t even occur to her. Can you say,
“Cenobite spam?”
